ENGAGING CUSTOMERS
For a content platform search is key to enable customers to find and retrieve the content they're searching for. A key initiative coming out of strategy planning was building engagement with search that it underutilised by customer.
Problem
Engagement with Search is extremely low, particularly for brands across web platform
Customers turn to the search functionality when they have built their intent and have a clear idea what they want, however search is not being engaged with.
Across web platform brands, only 5-15% of web sessions involve search.
Hypothesis
By increasing the prominence of the search input across our sites, more users will engage with it.
